TRIAL: SAE Digital Library

The Library has obtained a trial of SAE International's Digital Library until 2nd December 2014, and encourages staff and students to review this new resource. Let us know whether you find this resource useful.

SAE Digital Library provides students and researchers in aerospace, automotive, and commercial vehicle engineering access to:

SAE Technical Papers - more than 94,000 papers dating back to 1906.

SAE Standards - 27,000 standards relating to processes, practices, and products throughout the mobility industry.

SAE eBooks – 130+ technical books written by experts in fields such as Brakes, Electronics, Engine & Powertrain Systems, Engine Testing, HEV, Lightweight & Advanced Performance Materials, Safety, Vehicle Dynamics & Chassis.

SAE Magazines – magazines such as Automotive Engineering International, Aerospace Engineering and SAE Off-highway Engineering, which chronicle a century of advancements in the mobility industry.

I've used the SAE library to get lots of really useful papers on statistical energy analysis applied to cars, aircraft and spacecraft. Very easy to use - it would be nice to have a permanent subscription.
