New resource: Statista

Statista is a statistics portal that provides data on over 80,000 topics including consumer goods, technology, the internet, travel and tourism.  Although primarily aimed at students in the Management School, it will be useful for anyone trying to find data or statistics. All statistics, infographics and reports can be downloaded in a variety of formats including PNG, PDF and PPT and include citation guidance

Access to www.sciencedirect.com is currently being affected by a publisher block, related to systematic / excessive downloading by a University of Liverpool member, contrary to licence conditions.

We are in the process of resolving this issue, and hope to restore normal access shortly.

Off campus, you can use apps anywhere to access the above link.

Expanded resource: Mintel

The Leisure & Entertainment module has been added to our Mintel subscription. Mintel provides online access to market and industry reports, information on product launches, economic and demographic information

SPIE Digital Library platform migration

SPIE Digital Library will be undergoing migration to a new platform. This is expected to take place on 15th August around 3pm BST and measures have been put in place to try to ensure access is not disrupted, however access to SPIE Digital Library should be considered at risk during the platform migration
