Loeb Classical Library Online is an extremely useful resource for Classical research and I'd like to use it on a more permanent basis. The layout is clear and intuitive, and the wealth of databases rivals the best contenders in the field. Please consider purchasing the permanent access.

This is an excellent resource for anyone working in Classics and Ancient History. The Loeb on-line library is effectively a one stop shop for all the major Greek and Latin sources. As a lecturer, it would be especially useful to be able to point students here. But the texts are also helpful for my own research. A subscription would be very welcome indeed.

I found the online Loeb Classical library very useful for my studies. As a postgraduate student, I have found this trial incredibly convenient – it is easy to use and the texts are easy to find as well. The best thing is that we have some of the most up-to-date English translations available online. I would welcome a subscription, and I know that other students would as well.

This is an extremely useful source for Ancient Historians, Classicists, and Archaeologists of the Classical world. The database is organized intelligently and allows for thematic searches. An excellent research and teaching tool! A must-have!

This is an extremely valuable resource is a must have. Students can now have direct access on line to almost any classical source in both the original and in translation. There is the additional benefit that that access on line removes the problem of access to the books if they are borrowed by someone else, which is a real problem especially at second and third year undergraduate level.

This is a superb, nay essential resource. It finally removes the problem of access to primary sources (in translation + in the original) for UGs and PGs. Very reader-friendly interface. The convenience of online access is important too; many academic staff (not just Classics & Ancient History, but also History, Philosophy) benefit from this resource both as teachers and and researchers. I very much hope that the library takes out a permanent subscription to Loeb Classical Library Online.

Great resource for students and researchers. Access to a huge range of classical sources online, which removes problems of access should the hard copies be borrowed by other readers. This is a must have.

The Loeb Classical Library provides an excellent and reliable resource for research on any level, and is absolutely vital for not just Latin and Greek language students, but also for those doing Ancient History and Classical Studies. I vote for a permanent subscription - please! :)

It is essential to keep the Loeb Classical Library Online. It is extremely useful to me as a classicist to show me the reason why I am a classicist! It is also really useful for all the people who can't understand Greek and Latin languages- the layout is brilliant i.e. English opposite the original language. Please consider subscription.

Very useful. Without this I have to go to the library to find a text cited in a book or article. I live in Kent, and the library is an hour and a half's journey away in London.

An excellent and accessible resource for research, especially useful for clarifying a point or getting a reference quickly, or for working in a remote location, Would be very glad to see this as a permanent resource.

The Loeb Classical Library Online edition is a must-have for students and researchers. It provides the most up-to-date translations of both Latin and Greek texts, all from the comfort of your own home. It is very easy to use and I have no doubt that if purchased it will be one of the most used subscriptions of the university library.
