Are you a social scientist looking for advice on how to get published?
Researchers seminar: Tuesday 24th January 2012, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Taylor Room, Sydney Jones Library.
The Library is delighted to welcome Katie Metzler, Commissioning Editor for Research Methods at SAGE, to talk to Liverpool researchers and provide an insight into SAGE's commissioning strategy. What kind of books are SAGE looking to publish? How do you find the right publisher for your work? How is the process of publishing in journals different to that of publishing a book?
Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Please REGISTER to book your place.

Is this open to postgraduate students who are thinking of a career in research?
Thanks for your comment. The seminar intended for University staff and postgraduate research students already engaged in research rather than taught postgraduates considering a research career. Your department or the University Careers Service should be able to offer further guidance if you are thinking of a career in research.
