Out of Hours Telephone Service
When telephoning the Information desk phone number in either the HCL or SJL after 9.30pm Monday-Friday, on weekends (excluding times when library staff are present), bank holidays (again during the hours we are unstaffed) and university closed days, calls will be re-directed to a staffed, out of hours service. This service will be able to assist with general library queries and some more specific enquiries.
During the summer vacation the out of hours service will operate from 6.00pm and all weekend.
The telephone number remains the same, whether during work hours or out-of-hours:
HCL ISD 45411 (internal) or +44 (0) 151 794 5411 (external).
SJL ISD 42679 (internal) or +44 (0) 151 794 2679 (external).
