We have purchased the ACS Symposium Series online from 1974 to date, and access is now available from http://pubs.acs.org.ezproxy.liv.ac.uk/series/symposium. We will be adding catalogue records for all titles soon.
The ACS Symposium Series contains high-quality, peer-reviewed books developed from the ACS technical divisions' symposia. Each chapter is carefully authored by an expert in the field, and the collection of chapters edited by an internationally recognized leader in the field. The series covers a broad range of topics including agricultural and food chemistry, cellulose and renewable materials, chemical education, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials, and many others.
ACS Symposium Series e-books are provided in simple PDF chapters, with none of that Digital Rights Management (DRM) software that we know you hate.

Royal Society of Chemistry e-books now available
We have purchased the complete set of Royal Society of Chemistry e-books and access is now available from http://www.rsc.org.ezproxy.liv.ac.uk/Publishing/eBooks/index.asp and we now have catalogue records for them.
The collection contains over 800 titles published from 1968 to date, and includes titles aimed at undergraduates, postgraduates and staff.
The collection covers many subject areas (including the environment, materials science and nanoscience) - and indeed should appeal to anyone who likes beer or chocolate!
