We are delighted to announce that we have purchased over 6,000 e-books in all subject areas from the Taylor & Francis Group. The majority of titles are from the Routledge and Taylor & Francis imprints, but other imprints include A.A. Balkema, Auerbach Publications, BIOS Scientific Publications, Brunner-Routledge, Chapman & Hall, CRC Press, Europa Publication, Fitzroy Dearborn, Frank Cass, Marcel Dekker, Psychology Press, Routledge-Cavendish and Spon Press.
Each e-book will appear in the Library Catalogue soon, but until then they can be access directly from the T&F e-books site (on-campus only initially).
In early 2008 we should be able to access these e-books from the Taylor & Francis Group's Informaworld site, which we already use to access T&F e-journals.

NEW: (Almost) all ScienceDirect e-journal backfiles purchased
We're delighted to announce that we have been able to purchase almost all of the remaining Elsevier e-journal backfiles on the ScienceDirect platform. We now have access to the full backfiles of more than 1,400 e-journals on ScienceDirect.
We have purchased the following backfile collections:
Agricultural and Biological Sciences
Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology
Computer Science
Earth and Planetary Sciences
Energy and Power
Immunology and Microbiology
Medicine and Dentistry
Neuroscience
Nursing and Health Professions
Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics
Veterinary Science and Veterinary Medicine
The only ScienceDirect backfiles that we do not own are The Lancet and the small Academic Press supplements to the original backfiles that we bought back in 2001 (Physics, Chemistry, etc).
Catalogue records are in the process of being updated, and SFX (the software underlying 'find it @ liverpool') has been quickly updated and will be updated more carefully later on.
