PC bookings pilot commences Tuesday 8th May

From Tuesday 8th May, a limited number of PCs in both main libraries will be available to book:

• - Harold Cohen Library, HCC1 - 12 PCs
• - Sydney Jones Library, Ground Floor, Grove Wing - 10 PCs

The following terms of use apply:

• Bookings can be made at the Information Support Desks in both libraries - visit in person or telephone 0151 794 5411 (Harold Cohen Library) / 0151 794 2678 (Sydney Jones Library).
• Bookings are for 2 or 4 hour slots (maximum of 4 hours per day).
• Bookings can be made up to 1 week in advance.
• Bookings will be clearly displayed on the relevant computer.
• If a computer has not been occupied 15 minutes after the start of a booking, it then becomes available on a first come / first served basis for the remainder of that time slot.
• In the case of hardware or software failure, bookings are not guaranteed and will not be transferred to another computer.

Need a laptop? Now you can borrow one

A laptop loans service is now available from the Harold Cohen and Sydney Jones Library Service Desks.

Laptops can be borrowed for up to 4 hours at a time on a first come, first served basis.
