TRIAL: Palgrave Connect e-books

We have a trial of several Palgrave Connect e-book collections until June 23rd 2010:

Language & Linguistics Collection 2009
Language & Linguistics Collection 2010
Literature & Performing Arts Collection 2007
Literature & Performing Arts Collection 2008
Literature & Performing Arts Collection 2009
Literature Collection 2010

For off-campus access please use Internet Explorer in the Office or Web folders of AppsAnywhere. We would of course configure EZproxy access if we were to buy content on Palgrave Connect.

On Palgrave Connect you can download entire e-books as a PDF document, and there are no Digital Rights Management restrictions on copying or printing (though copyright law still applies of course!)

Futher subject collections are also available (but without trial access). Collections are sold by subject and year on publication, with the earliest collections going back to 2000. For a list of all the collections, see http://www.palgraveconnect.com/pc/browse/catalog.

We would welcome your comments on the functionality of the platform and the range of titles available.

After trying Palgrave Connect please leave your comments below. You can choose the anonymous option to comment without needing to have a Blogger account, but it helps if you include your name in your feedback so that we can follow up on comments. Please be specific about which collections (subject areas and years) you are most interested in.
